This is the flower market. Its there everyday and you can get a dozen roses for $2. I got my host mom a gorgeous arrangement of tropical looking flowers for $3...and it was huge!

My doggie Camila!!! Cutest puppy ever. She loves to lay outside in the sun.
Doing some painting at a school as a service project. We had the lovely task of the bathrooms! I won't go into detail but it wasn't pretty. These are some of the girls I hang out with the most. From left to right: Hanna, Allison, Jess and me!

Hopefully you enjoyed them. Tomorrow morning we leave bright and early for Cajas National Park. It's supposed to be absolutely gorgeous (but freezing because it's way up in the mountains) and we are camping there! Everyone cross their fingers that Lindsey doesn't freeze to death and can appreciate all the beauty that is around her!! I think I'll be okay, but a little extra support doesn't hurt ;) I'm sure I'll have pictures to put up next week!

Nice pictures. What a deal on those flowers! And the puppy is so cute!!! Bring a jacket with you in the mountains (maybe hats and mittens too??). Not much happening here. I am sick once again-stomach flu now. I have been sick since Memorial Day with sinuses, bronchitis etc and have gone through 3 bouts of anibiotics-now this, enough is enough! Send some of that clean mountain air my way! I love you!!! God Bless and Keep you Safe!

Happy 4th of July Lindsey!!! We went to my mom's to have shish kabobs and celebrate her birthday. Mom and I talked about last 4th. It was so special with you and your mom! We missed you this year. I think of how many 4th we did spend together. A lifetime! You take care-God Bless and keep You Safe!

sorry for failing to respond until now. i don't really have much of an excuse other than that ever since i got back from waffle's wedding i've been uber busy working, hosting megan over the fourth, and mountain biking in gunnison/crested butte....not that any of that means much to you, but all the same i love and miss your face and hope you didn't freeze in the mountains.
i can't tell you in words how ridiculously excited i am for school to start so i guess i just won't in hopes that you'll make the most of your time left in ecuador. who am i kidding, i know you will!
